Working with this client before drywall was put up proved very beneficial for this project. By bringing A Better View Decor in with the General Contractor and Master Electrician during the building stage, we were able to plan and execute all window treatments as hardwired motorization: all connected to their home automation system. No battery replacement necessary as all wires run to down to their utility room and this provides overall ease of operation. Just a little advance planning and proactive education made this project effortless. This busy family loves operating the shades when they are away. It gives them an added level of security as it looks like someone is home. Setting the window treatments on timers for a certain time of day when the sun hits the West facing facade is ideal when they are in the kitchen cooking.
